U.S. Embassy Podgorica.
If we correctly understood yesterday's request on Twitter well - U.S. Embassy Podgorica demands, the Government of Montenegro to condemn the massacre of Serbs in Srebrenica against Bosniak Muslims and mujaheddin and to call it "as it was - genocide".
Starting from the proclaimed desire of the USA - to develop democracy around the world, we would like to know, whether the aforementioned request represents an official request of the USA addressed to a sovereign State?
By the way, as far as we know, in the period from 1992-95 on the territory of BiH, crimes took place, crucially stimulated and helped from abroad. However, the jurisdiction of the Provisional International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia and the International Court of Justice, and thus the validity of their decisions, remained disputed. In addition, unlike other crimes, in the case of genocide there must be an indisputably established intention to e.g. completely or partially destroy Bosniak Muslims from Srebrenica, mujaheddin, etc.
The impression remains that the United States was aware that the temporary Hague Tribunal was illegally and intentionally established by the Resolution SC 827 of May 25, 1993. year and that its decisions can be challenged, so they, with the consent of 66 states, established a legal permanent International Criminal Court on July 1, 2002. years.
Under present circumstances, regardless if it is complying with the Vienna Convention or some other convention, yesterday's request of the US Embassy in Podgorica shall contribute to even greater and lasting instability and hatred in this area (Bosniaks-Muslims, Montenegrins, Croats, Albanians and Serbs), which, we hope, is not the goal of the United States?
