If we correctly understood the press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of January 20, 2021, the Federal Cabinet decided on January 20, 2021 to appoint former State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Defense Christian SCHMIDT - instead of Valentin INZKO - to stand for the office of the High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to the Ministry of Foreig Affairs, the candidacy took place in close coordination with international partners and the members of the Steering Committee of the Peace Implementation Council, pointing out that the Office of the High Representative was established with the Dayton Peace Agreement.
To understand the above information more fully, assuming that it is information of public and fateful importance, we would be interested in:
- Could we get the Decision on Mr Christian Schmidt's candidacy for the office of High Representative for BiH?
- As the function of the High Representative, with jurisdiction, liability and immunity, was stipulated on November 21, 1995 by: BiH, Federation of BiH, Croatia, Serbia (former FRY) and Republic of Srpska (as the persons / parties with immediate interests), we would like to know whether the named contracting parties also participated in the selection of the High Representative?
